Upcoming Meeting
Our first meeting will be on January 8, 2009. It is entitled "What is ASID doing for me?"
We will include a powerpoint presentation to discuss the many new developments on our website, national website and features and benefits of being a member of ASID. Speaking of the benefit of associating with ASID, we have been meeting many of our student members recently and promoting the idea of continuing as an Allied member of ASID following their education. We greeted them at our membership table at "The Big Finale" at JCCC. We also traveled to Springfield, Mo. and had a tabletop at the Springfield Design Association event in November. We met many of the very enthusiastic 50 +/- graduating seniors. It was a great way to connect with many that had never attended any of our local events.
I will send out more updated information on this luncheon meeting as to time and location. Its a great way to start out your new year with your peers and help make our organization stronger and better. So please plan to join us and send your comments to me.
